However, any personal information you voluntarily disclose and post on the Site (i.e., message boards, personal profile pages and/or chat areas) can be viewed and used by others. We have no control and are not liable for any use by third parties of your personal information that you post in these areas. If you post personal information that is accessible to the public online, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.

We will divulge your private information if required to do so by law. If served with a subpoena, search warrant, or court order, we would provide the necessary information.

If you subscribe to any fcarl.org newsletters, we will not share your e-mail address with third parties. We may, however, use your e-mail address to notify you of special events and news that we feel may interest you.

We may collect information to help us improve the Site. For instance, we may collect IP address information (the group of four numbers separated by periods, such as 123.45.64.89, that identifies a particular host computer). When collected, it is used to analyze traffic on the Site and to identify individual users who use our services for malicious, abusive or inappropriate purposes. In those cases, the IP number is used to identify the host computer, and internet service provider so that we may prevent recurrences of abuse. We may divulge this information to ISPs, aggrieved parties and law enforcement officials on request.

The Site's "Tell A Friend" feature permits you to invite a friend to visit the Site. We will never use your friend's e-mail address for any purposes unless they specifically ask us to do so.

We use cookie technology to track usage patterns on the Site. When you visit the Site, we may drop cookies. These allow Site areas such as the Forum and Classifieds section to remember your login information when you return. Cookies are pieces of information transferred to your hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Such technology is an industry standard and is used by most major Web sites. We will never use cookies to retrieve information from your computer that was not originally sent in a cookie. In order to use some features of the Site, your browser must accept cookies.
